Holding Ourselves Accountable for Equity and Inclusion - Lunch and Learn

  • MAHEC - Balsam Room 121 Hendersonville Road Asheville, NC, 28803 United States (map)

While the most common activity for the work of equity and inclusion are workshops, they are, standing as a "one off" activity, the least effective. Research indicates that the most effective strategies are workshops linked to intentional mentoring and accountability measures

Come join the WNC Diversity Engagement Coalition for a free lunch and learn on Wednesday, June the 14th at the MAHEC Education Building in the Balsam Room from 11:30 - 1:00 and discover the best accountability tool for your organization.

This workshop will examine a variety of accountability tools with time to identify areas of growth for individuals and organizations and a plan of action. It is highly recommended that organizations purchase and bring this book to the workshop "Managing Diversity: A Complete Desk Reference" (also available used).

Presenter: Deborah Miles, Director, Center f1or Diversity Education at UNC Asheville

Lunch will be provided and space is limited

*RSVP's are required*
